TRW-400B has by far the furthest communications range (up to 8km in line of sight and 1km in an urban area) together with the best receiver sensitivity of all modules you sell, but I also interested in RD232 & RS232 HI POWER. Would you please give me some suggestions?
1. TRW-400B is our early period communication protocol , it is without hopping, no build-in Antenna.Customer needs to do power supply side by themselves. According to our past experience, most customers failed in this stage because they are not familiar with POWER handling.
2. We improved antenna side and communication protocol, and make a new product whose name is RD232, every customer never failure.
3. After you are familiar with RD232 and then you can consider to change your using to RS232 HI POWER, customer will get the point to use RS232 HI POWER more easy.
My application is as below, kindly suggest your best solution for me:
We`re going to use the kits together with SUNS pots from Sun Microsystems, to experiment with replacing the standard radio on these sensor modules with a better one with longer range at low data rates. We are hoping we can re-use the mesh-networking communication stack that is currently already implemented in the spots.
Please consider our RD232 Wireless Modem, or you can consider our RS232 HI POWER if you need more far distance.
We`ve got a problem with RD232-TTL when we connect for 2-3 time then it`s not working. We use input 5 VDC. Would you please tell us for this problem?
Thought the power is 5V, but RX/TX TTL interface communication voltage is 3.3V.
Our application is local network games in department store. Each module have to report status for each game cabinet to Administrator. Distance amount : 50 meter. Please suggest one products, thanks.
Please consider our RD232. For now, we already have customer to use this product on game connection.
